Come join us on an unforgettable overnight backpacking trip to Shi Shi Beach!

Seated on the Northwest Corner of the Olympic Peninsula, Shi Shi beach is one of the most beautiful beach locations along the Pacific Coast. A hike through dense and ancient coastal rainforest on the Makah tribe's reservation brings us down to an idyllic beach with huge hoodoo rocks, and breath-taking views of Pacific grandeur. Whale sightings are common, along with a variety of sea-birds. Our trip will culminate with camping right on the beach, and a campfire to celebrate the evening under the starry sky.
No experience is necessary on any of our trips - just a moderate level of physical fitness and an enthusiasm to learn about backpacking.
We provide backpacking gear including backpacks, sleeping bags and pads, tents, cooking systems and dinner / breakfast. Vegan and gluten-free options available. Throughout our trip we cover essential backpacker know-hows, such as:
  • Leave No Trace Principles
  • Gear required for multi-day back country travel
  • How to use tents and stoves Backpack packing strategy
  • Local wild edibles and other flora and fauna
  • And much more
