Join us on this seven day adventure of horse packing deep into the Rocky Mountains. Every participants gets their own horse to ride and take care of. We ride in minimalist style carrying only essential items for survival. Among these is our very own ripstop-nylon sewn tipi, which functions as our group shelter. We ride over 13,000 foot passes and camp in meadows over 11,000 feet.
On our path is Uncompaghre peak which towers at 14,308 feet, Colorado's sixth highest peak. An ascent of the peak is optionalon one of the horse rest days. Beyond horseback riding our journey is filled with fishing opportunities, wildlife and wildflower viewngs and explorations of this magnificent part of the Rocky Mountains.
GOOD PHYSICAL CONDITION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS EXPEDITION!
